  • How does an average tutoring session look like?
Study Circle holds online sessions through Zoom: paired tutors and tutees discuss a weekly/biweekly time to have lessons on Zoom, and we keep a schedule of all our sessions throughout the week. That way, the tutor has their own independence in how they would like to pace their lessons, we only provide the space. Tutors and tutees are always free to organize their own in person meetings either at a school or place of choice!
  • Is the tutoring free?
Yes! All tutoring is done by older students across the district completely free of charge; they instead earn volunteer hours for their efforts.
  • How do I reach out?
BC Study Circle takes pride in helping students achieve their academic goals. Our staff is available to answer any questions you may have about our services. We look forward to hearing from you and helping you reach your goals. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to look at contact information.
  • What is Online Study Circle?

  • What time are tutoring sessions?
During the school year, we hold sessions over Zoom every weekday from 4:00pm-9:00pm and all-day over the weekends. Summer sessions are open to any time during the week. (Note: specific times are discussed between tutor and tutees independently!)

Upon request or upon leave of the organization, we will provide a certificate with your name, description of your work, and volunteer hours.
